We started raising Rottweilers in the early 2005. Raising and interacting with our Rottweilers is part of our everyday. Because we raised our Rottweilers around our children, they are continuously socialized and trained to be good friends and guardians. They are always loved and treated as part of our family.
We are saddened by the tragic accidents resulting from irresponsible ownership. This is caused by lack of information on how to properly train and socialize Rottweilers. For years, we've seen this breed come and go. We've seen it excel in competition, and sadly, we've also seen it bred for pure profit only. It is unfortunate that so many people have now taken advantage of the popularity of Rottweilers. From breeding below standards, to cross breeding for easy profit. The result? Neglected Rottweilers that roam the streets, and Rottweilers thrown in shelters. Volunteer workers at animal shelters have even condemned reputable breeders for encouraging buyers to purchase pure bred dogs. It is their position that there are too many homeless dogs in the shelters. The sad truth is, people who bought dogs for cut-rate pricing and low breed quality are much more inclined to abuse and neglect them. On the other hand, people who invested on a good quality pure bred dog, will be motivated to ensure the safety and well being of their investment.
To this day still exist quite a few beliefs, and unfounded horror stories about Rottweilers… Stories that attempt to ruin the reputation of this breed. The fact is, they are just like other dogs…How you raise them is what they become. Which brings us to why Rottweiler Breeders have become stricter with their new owner interview process and contract agreements.
We, Kingwood-Rottweilers, will strive to ensure that breeding and ownership standards are met…. No less!! As Breeders, we feel a responsibility to continue to improve its conformation, disposition, and temperament. What began as a love for this breed became a realization that we could contribute to its growth and development.
Our intent is to provide a beautiful Rottie, with excellent conformation.

We spend part of every day with our dog families to ensure that they are socialized.
It is our goal for our pups to become faithful guardians, and protectors to their owners; more importantly, great friends.
We look to the future,
but build for today...
